Quoting Bryce :
"The 10/20 NL isn't super soft, but playing anything 5/10 or lower basically amounts to running around, clubbing people with a bat, and taking their stacks. *WHACK* In terms of what's optimal in a mathematical sense NL players are way, way farther removed from GTO play than LHE players (largely because LHE is a much harder game to mess up THAT badly), and so it's pretty easy to just get in there with a calculator and crush."
I wish I knew what he is talking about here. Man, I am so far from his world...frustrating

He's saying its much easier for a NL player to deviate far from mathematically optimal play because there is so much range in the bet size choice. A Limit player can't mess that part up, so they are by default closer to optimal.
I think.

What Harvey said is correct. There's also a compounding effect here in that since the bad NL players play VERY badly the optimal way for the "shark" players to play, in the sense that they'll win the most money against such fishy players, is also very exploitable in turn as they're making huge deviations from GTO play in order to capitalize on the fish. The fish never exploit them in turn. What happens, however, is that if you come along and ramp up the aggression to something closer to GTO most "sharky" players have no idea how to play in that sort of an environment, and just implode.

i think when someone makes this type of comment(which i agree with) on his coaching site's forum, its fair to assume his next nl video will be 5/10 hu?

Normally that might be quite likely, yes. Right now there are about a million videos I want to get done (in addition to other projects), however, so while you'll probably see some more HU NL at some point it won't be right away.

"ramp up the aggression"
so here is a clue, eh ?
Bryce, how can I BEGIN to learn how to ramp up the aggression ?
How can I learn to imporve my game to something closer to GTO ??
I want to make my opponents "implode" !! :D

I think its something like heavy 3betting / 4betting preflop
and then big bets on flop etc
your goal is to create a little bit of chaos and at the same time, your opponent will not have the same understanding of his equity on average that you do
so he will fold too many situations where he has equity and is getting an overlay or maybe even is ahead with hi card
you guys think Im in the neighborhood ??
